Review: Fischer Plumbing has done a variety of projects for me over the years, from fixing an outdoor drain problem to plumbing repair work and more minor toilet repairs in the house. They have always shown up on time, when they said they were going to be there, and done a good, clean job. I feel comfortable with their repairmen, who are nice and polite. I have been using Fischer Plumbing for 6-8 years now and have never been concerned that they were going to encourage me to do something that was not necessary. I trust their expertise and advice. I also feel that their prices are reasonable.

Review: Good Service. I called in the morning & someone was out within 2 hours even though it wasn't an emergency. Technician was friendly and courteous (took of shoes) He did a good job showing me what happened - Showing me the faulty shower mechanism. Issue was quickly identified and fixed within 20 minutes.

The quality of work is impeccable. I have used them for both simple to complex jobs. I trust this company to do a good job for me every time and have frequently recommended them to friends. They also have been very satisfied.

Summary: Best plumbers I've found
Review: I posted a review the first time I used this company. This is a follow up: I own rental houses and need plumbers and other contractors more often than most folks; it's not always easy to find someone reliable. (I've had plumbing scenarios that are truly the stuff of nightmares and my psyche may have been irreversibly damaged by repeated exposure to the classic "plumber's crack".) I've used Fischer Plumbing four times now, each was a good experience and the charges were fair and realistic. The most recent job, yesterday, was to repair a leak in my own kitchen . David, the same guy who did our first job, arrived within a couple hours of my phone call. Last time I failed to get his name, but he really deserves some recognition. He again showed up promptly, was quick, neat, well-groomed, polite and very personable. David discovered the leak was from a broken faucet. The faucet could not be repaired but he had one on his truck (Costly, but worth it so I didn't have to wait for a replacement or go out and buy one) David completed the repair promptly, and cleaned up before he left. Ironically, later that day I discovered my husband had already purchased a very nice faucet. He'd planned to replace it himself but procrastinated for six months until a tiny drip became a major leak. Now I have a new faucet, a soggy cabinet, moldy sheetrock, a plumbing bill and a nice, shiny extra faucet in the garage - gee thanks, honey. I just wish I'd called Fischer Plumbing much sooner! Summary: My crappy story by Ichabod Caine
Review: Heres a crappy story. The first bid I got to fix my sewer line was 84,000 dollars, the second was 45,000, the third was 25,000, Fischer Plumbing who was the most professional did it for 13 grand. The moral to my story, get plenty of estimates before you flush thousands of dollars!

Summary: Today, Fischer came out for a very small issue
Review: Fischer Plumbing not only cares, they can take care of the most difficult projects. I have had many plumbing emergencies over the years, including a minor one today. Here is why I only call Fischer to help us: 1) Our old home in Green Lake holds the record for the longest side sewer in Seattle and it was Fischer that the other plumbers (who couldn't help us) recommended to fix a clog we had. They simply had the right equipment and experience. It turned out, the damage to our sewerline was caused by The City of Seattle and if Fischer hadn't been on the job, I would have had to pay thousands to shut down 80th and Wallingford to replace the broken pipe. 2. Today, Fischer came out for a very small issue to remove a diaper my daughter flushed down the toilet. Not only did they fix it quickly, they were accommodating with the cost (even on the weekend) and they recommended a tool I could buy at Home Depot to be prepared when (and it will) this happens again.

Summary: Quick and friendly
Review: I chose Fischer over at least a half-dozen other plumbers (ones without glossy photos in the phone book) due to their hourly rate, location and capability. The job to be done was to unclog a sewer drain and they did that successfully. We received a lot of good information from the personable and experienced technician and ended up having him mark the line locations for a very reasonable additional fee. (Marking the lines was necessary in order to gather bids to replace the sewer lines). We ended up not going with Fischer for sewer line replacement due to cost, but they were second choice of the four bids we received (the top bid just couldn't be beat, and the job went very well). PROS: Quick, friendly, knowledgeable CONS: Didn't mark my sewer line completely correct

Summary: Fischer's people have a professional, positive "can-do" attitude
Review: We recently had Fischer Plumbing Contractors come out and re-pipe the old plumbing in our circa 1910 home in Seattle. We want to pass on to the appropriate people at Fischer Plumbing, how pleased we were with the work. We'd like to especially single out Ray Wagner for his professional, positive “can-do” attitude, his attention to detail, his quick, efficient work, and his willingness to keep us informed throughout the process. He let us know when they were stepping out for lunch, when there were leaving for the day and when they’d show up the next day. It really helped. We felt like he actually cared that we got the best job possible. Nate and the rest of the outside crew also did a quick and thoughtful job. They informed us that the city water meter was broken, which wasn’t really their worry, but it showed their caring attitude. Re-piping our home was a major job, noisy at times, but we’re very happy with the results and with the professional, courteous treatment we received from your staff. Thank you very much, Dwight

Review: I've happily used these guys for years, but when my 1912 era side sewer finally went out, backing up into my basement (yuk!) I was especially grateful for their professionalism and fast response helping with professional cleanup and replacing the line. Later, when a related issue neither of us knew about arose (another line that didn't appear on official records) they came right out and fixed that at no charge! They explain everything, clean up after themselves, are courteous and friendly, and they know what they're doing. I never even considered another plumber for this huge job because you don't want to mess around with anything as important to daily life as a properly functioning sewer line!

Summary: Service was excellent, and done in a very timely manner
Review: Called dispatch. Within a few minutes of the call to dispatch, Jim called me, told me he was in the area, and would be right over. Less than 10 minutes later he was here, and had the problem diagnosed. Due to this being an old house, there were some logistical issues replacing the wax ring on the toilet. Jim was very forthcoming and thorough about what he was doing to fix the problem, and gave helpful advice on what I should think about doing for a more permanent fix. I will definitely use Fischer Plumbing in the future. Service was excellent, and done in a very timely manner. Thank you! Pros: Great service

Review: I own rental houses and have had encounters with plumbers that could inspire the script for a truly horrific scary movie. This time I checked Citysearch - since my own business is listed here and my customers have posted dozens of good reviews (and a couple not so good) , I know it's a reliable resource. One plumbing company had a bunch of consistantly terrible reviews and I was glad for the warning. Fischer had great reviews and I decided to try them. The reviews were right on, and I'm happy to add mine to the bunch. When I called them the receptionist was pleasant, she had a licensed plumber call me back and he gave me a pretty good idea of the cost over the phone. (some companies charge $75 just to tell you they'll charge an arm and a leg.) The guy from Fischer showed up right on time. He was well groomed, very pleasant and polite, worked neatly. He installed a toilet on a cement floor where none had ever been; though he had to drill the cement to put in bolts, he had the entire task accomplished in less than an hour, with a bill about half what several others quoted. I'm sorry I didn't get the individual plumber's name, but he did a great job and I'm very pleased. I've already referred this company to my brother and to my leasing agent (she could REALLY use a better plumber-her guy overcharges and underperforms.) I'm glad found these guys and will certainly use them again. Keep up the good work, folks! Pros: Fast, pleasant, reasonably priced Cons: none

Review: I called fischer to come and look at a leak. They were at my restaurant for 2 minutes and left me with a $149 bill. I DO NOT recommend them. They said nothing was wrong, when really there was a terrible leak. Save yourself the money and time and forget Fischer FOREVER! Review: We had an unknown source of water pooling in our rental house. Either it was from the dishwasher or from the plumbing. It could have been sludge or a broken pipe, we couldn't be sure. We decided to call Fischer Plumbing, because they were near our rental. We called them that morning and within a few hours the first fellow came out. The issue was unfortunately deeper and so he called in a second fellow who arrived within the hour. The pipes were about fifty to sixty years old and it turned out they were cracked and needed to be repaired. With great diligence and horse power, they got the pipes mended and cleared out and all ready for when our renter got home from work that day.I will say, the only downside was when we got the bill. We paid the first bill and then a second bill arrived two days later. We didn't have a problem with the amount of the bill, we just would have preferred to know the entire amount all at one time, so we could have paid all at once with one check. We were very impressed with the technicians. They really did great hands-on work. All of their plumbers at Fishcher's must be talented and well-educated. Those were old pipes! They did a splendid job for us! We will happily recommend their services and they'll be the only ones we call when we need a plumber!

Review: We have a mystery leak and I took all morning researching reviews after Googling for plumbers. Narrowed it down to 3, called all three. Third was Fischer and an actual person answered. She took my info and said someone would call me shortly. Less than 30 minutes later guy gives me a call, pleasant, got info about the situation and gave several things I could do to check it out. Talked for about ten minutes, no rush, seemed genuinely determined to help. Great job! I never take time to write surveys but I always complain about the lack of customer service these days, so just wanted to recognize. Thanks!

Review: My experience with Fischer Plumbing has been great! They were very responsive and the work was even better than I had expected. They replaced all of the metal pipes and valves under the sink and fixed the leak I had too. Steve was my technician, and he worked really hard and was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I already told them I'd ask for Steve next time I call!

Review: I recently had a great experience with Fischer Plumbing. I've used them before a few times, but that was years ago. The guy who came out this time around was just great.I live half the time here, and the other half in California. When I came up here the last time, I found that the plumbing under the sink was leaking. I called Fischer to have them replace all the plastic fixtures under the sink with steel parts. The plumber worked hard, and did the job very well, and quickly.Afterwards, I told my management company about my good experience with Fischer, only to discover that they were already recommending them regularly. I'm very glad I hired Fischer, because they got it just right.

Review: We had to replace a pipe that went that went outside for the house because it had broken, and Fischer Plumbing was really timely. They were there when they said they would be there, gave a couple of different options for doing it, explained what they would do, finished it up, put the deck back together, and it was all set!

Review: Our main bathroom had major issues over Labor Day weekend, and so on that Tuesday we called Fischer Plumbing for help. After a drain inspection, we learned that, as we suspected, our 90 year old sewer line was basically toast. We were given a few options and quickly chose the most long-term, permanent solution: a new line connecting to the main sewer. My husband and I were so impressed with the professionalism of the team and the respect that the men had for our neighbor's property as well as our own. From the call center to the front line, everyone involved at Fischer Plumbing gave us the attention and service we needed. We are pleased with the results and will only use Fischer in the future if the need ever arises.

Review: Perfect Experience. Our private side sewer is over 100 years old and backed up into our basement. It was a Sunday and had "leveled" so I called for them to come out on Monday (our landlord is rather "frugal"). They called Monday morning at 8:30 and asked if a 10-noon window was alright. At 9:30 they called and asked if right then was alright (early... wow!) Isaac came out and was AWESOME! Clean, professional, very knowledgable and patient with me & my questions. He cleared the blockage and was out of here in an hour and a half!! (I'm sure depending on the problem, "individual results may vary" (smirk)). What really floored me was when I disappeared for a few minutes to grab my landlord's info for them to send the bill to... I came around the corner and he was cleaning up the 'goop' that had backed up into our shower floor. I KNOW that's not part of the job. He was just bein' a good guy while waiting for me. Customer service like this is getting harder and harder to come by nowadays. It was my first time using Fischer, and if Isaac is an indicator of how they conduct their business... I will never call anyone else. Thanks again!

Review: I received a frantic call from my mother who lives at my home because our waterheater burst and was flooding the downstairs. I called Fischer and the lady that took my call assured me they would get someone there right away and take care of it and that they did! They went beyond the call of duty and were so respectful of not only my home and belongings but my mother too! I am very pleased to find a company that does high quality work that I can trust! will highly recommend them

Review: Great Experience I am reading the reviews from the past jobs and have to say that I'm glad I didn't read them first - AND I am happy to balance it out with my experience. I had flooding in my basement from a busted pipe when it froze a few weeks ago. They came right out, gave me a quote, and were actually a few dollars below what they quoted me. I thought their customer service was fine. Granted, the guy wasn't very talkative, but he was nice - and the truth of the matter is, he isn't paid to chat with me. I haven't had any issues since then. Since I got my issue handled promptly and for what they quoted me on, I am giving them 4 stars. What's important is that my pipe was fixed properly. I do wish that they were a little cheaper, but I think you may get what you pay for in the plumbing world.
